What do you think the repercussions of 40+ degrees heat would be in the uk over 2 days?

People also need to consider the needs of the pets in their care. I run a dog walking and pet care business. I texted all my customers yesterday to say that I won’t be doing any walks when the temperatures too high so will judge this week on a day by day basis. I do take into account factors like cloud cover, wind, where we’re walking (grass/shade/water sources etc) but given it’s meant to be high 20s/into the 30’s all week it’s highly unlikely I’ll do any walks. I offered them the choice of cancellation at no charge or I can do home visits instead.

I still have customers insisting I walk their dogs at lunchtime and telling me things like ‘it’s not that hot’, ‘my dog loves the heat’. Makes me furious when people don’t realise the damage they can do.
