Should I be brutally honest when turning down a job interview?

I’m not complaining about having to get there, I’ve literally taken three days off work before to interview 8 hours away but I was only able to do that because I was given 2 weeks notice. This is a global company who should expect that potential employees will come from further afield and at least give them more than a week.

And as I mentioned it was a week maximum; they told me late on Thursday last week and expected me to be able to interview this week. That’s less than 7 days.

Also, I have other interviews lined up one of which I’m doing while on holiday with a 12 hour time zone difference, and have made sacrifices to attend that.

The reason I consider this one to be unreasonable is because they have not contacted me for months since the application but suddenly expect me to be able interview within a week. Surely HR have had that interview week planned in advance, and should have shortlisted well in advance of it. It just makes them seem massively disorganised, and I’ve worked for companies like that before and they are awful.
