20+ years ago I was on a plane back to Texas from Europe and sat next to a girl a couple of years older than me who was heading home to the East coast. We made small talk throughout the flight nothing more. Our plane had a delayed departure and everyone missed their connecting flights and were given a hotel rooms. I ride up the elevator with the girl from the plane and in a moment completely out of character for me I turn to her and tell her " I'm in room *** if you want to spend the night together" right as she exits the elevator. Twenty minutes later she knocks on my door and we have sex for an hour or so and she leaves. No last names were given and this encounter marks an impressionable chapter in my history.

Three years ago I am sitting in on my daughters group violin lesson when who should walk in but the woman from said encounter. From our stunned reactions from across the room it is quite clear that we both recognize each other. Long story short, we talk and I find out, at the time we first met she was about to be married, that she is a Mormon, she has five kids (six now) and her husband has been transferred to my city for work. We haven't spoken since but we see each other a few times a month and our daughters have become close friends within their orchestra. Our sons also play cello together in a different ensemble.
