What stereotypes hold true about the brand(s) you sell?

That’s a disingenuous read, and I think you know it.

First of all, the LGBTQ+ rainbow broadly refers to anyone who identifies as queer, which is to say, doesn’t identify as cisgender or heterosexual. If you see it on a car, it could be a cisgender woman who likes other women. It could be a man who likes men and women. It could be a passing transgender woman who likes men, or a non-binary person who is pansexual. It really doesn’t definitely tell you anything about anyone’s sexual preferences, so your statement that it “seems weird to put a sticker on your car that states what your sexual interests are” is absurd.

Second, because of the above, queerness isn’t just about your sexual preferences, genitals, or gender identity and presentation. It’s a culture. And it’s turned into that because plenty of other people (read: non-queer people) have made it a big deal to be queer by persecuting, ostracizing, assaulting, raping and even killing queer people.

For me, I spent my entire childhood being closeted and in fear. I put it there for myself, to remind myself I no longer have to do that.
