What is the story about yourself that no one lets you forget?

While on study abroad we all had horrible blunders that live in infamy, still tormenting us mercilessly. I'll go just for the top two.

We all go out to bond and pub crawl while on a weekend trip out of town. As the group is slowly, drunkenly meandering home, one girl starts to get impatient. She wants to go home NOW! Everyone else wants to find a sausage cart for midnight snacking. Eventually she screams, "FINE I'm going back without you." She is one of the drunker among us, and doesn't know how to get back home, but storms off in a huff (pre-internet cell phones, no google maps).

After we get our street meats, eat them on the road while I guide everyone home, we see her in the distance. She's standing on the sidewalk outside of the hostel we're staying at bouncing up and down. She starts screaming at us to hurry, someone needs to give her a key to the room. There are only two keys, and we're rummaging in pockets and purses trying to figure out who has it while she yells for someone to hurry up, she just wants to go inside. Right before we find the key, she screams in frustration....and wets her pants. She will never, ever live it down.

MY horrible blunder took place on our weekend trip to Scotland. While taking a particularly bad shit, I suddenly felt a horrible itching pain. It was both insanely painful and insanely itchy. So painful and itchy I was kept awake all night, and for the next two nights. Sitting was unbearable, but I was in a foreign land, had no internet access to look up what it might be, and no idea where a hospital was or how I would pay for it since my insurance was from another country. I confided in the other people why I wasn't sleeping or sitting and was generally miserable. I found out later I just had a pretty bad case of hemorrhoids, but I wear the name "Itchy-bum" with humiliated pride.
