What things do people of the opposite sex do that makes you think "that's why they're still single"?

Well this girl sounds really crazy, but I don't think that's a weird goal. I never told any of the guys I was interested in, but once I was ready to settle down, get married, and have kids, I wanted it to happen within about 2 years. The last thing I wanted was to stay together with a guy who didn't really want to get married but didn't really want to break up either because things were comfortable the way they were. Idk I need progress and forward momentum in my life and that's how I measure it. So I had a little internal goal that if it didn't look like the relationship was heading for marriage, I would just end things.

Anyway, there's no reason that relationship goals can't exist in tandem with all of the other goals you mentioned. Lose 30 lbs, get a good GPA, learn a cool skill, become a fucking badass, and don't waste your time on anyone who has different life goals, even if those goals are getting married and having kids within a few years.

(For the record, I got married after 2 years of dating/being engaged, and then popped out a kid about 9 months later. We were always open about what we wanted, and though the kid came a little sooner than we would have liked, it worked out. Coming up on our 9 year wedding anniversary.)
