What video game series would you erase out of your memory to replay again?

Just one game. Endless legend. I bought it like two years ago and bounced off of it repeatedly. Ive never been able to get into 4x games. Then oneday, after not thinking of it for months, I got home and really wanted to play it. So i launched it for the 4th time and something just clicked. I had a friend who saw me playing it on steam, and so began my fever dream romance with EL. We played dozens and doezens of ganes, learning as we went and restarting when we got bored. I fell in love with the unique and compelling stories, the fairytale-sci fi-dreamlike-fantastical-visuals, and the systems that seem so big at first, but resolved themselves into knowable, brilliant, elegant contraptions. No other game has been such a rich source of mastery, discovery, and wonder. I spent a lot of weekends not realizing 20+ hours had passed. It was peaceful, exciting, and impossibly fun. The last game I played pf EL I handily beat 5 AI on the hardest difficulty, and realized with a sigh that i had beat the game. Without 3-5 other skilled human opponents, i would never be challanged by it again.

But goddamn, getting there was amazing. It was one of the best experiences of my gaming career.
