What video games are loved by almost everyone but you either consider mediocre or even bad?

I'm late to the game, but I can still probably piss a dozen people off.

The old Sonic games. Hot. Garbage. The controls suck. The responsiveness sucks. The physics suck. The platforming sucks. The best part of the game is literally speeding through it as fast as possible to miss as much as you can. The reason they don't make good Sonic games anymore is because the never made good Sonic games. Nostalgia and the fact that it was the only real game in town at first for Sega gamers is all that keeps it around.

Honorable mention to Zelda: Breath of the Wild. It has zero replay value for me. Want to walk to the top of the thousandth hill for another Korok Seed? Nah. I'd like a dungeon I could sink my teeth into though, maybe with boss fights that don't suck. Oh, try a three minute shrine, you say? I'll pass.

It honestly felt like thirty hours of saying "Oh, that was neat/clever" with no real payoff. Good game. Bad Zelda game.
