A few weeks before the wedding they had an argument and she ditched him on the motor way in the middle of nowhere. The man legitimately thought he was going to die.(it was night)

During the wedding/at the alter he got the choir to sing happy birthday to his daughter. He then mentioned her birthday again during that "dinner speech" part and had to be reminded to say something about his wife.

They're actually still married but from the current stories I hear it's not a healthy marriage at all, borderline abusive.

(She's my mom's friend. Ppl do tell her the marriage isn't healthy but she doesn't want to leave....even when there's been red flags throughout the entire relationship)
