What "you know what, just to be safe..." thing you did ended up saving your ass later?

I had a normal pregnancy. No issues. Passing kick counts, good bp, everything on target. But something just felt off right that day. Not quite right. I went in and had highish bp, they sent me up to Labor and Delivery for observation overnight. At 3am they came rushing in and said they had to do an emergent c-section. After she was born she was intubated, much smaller than she should have been, and had persistent pulmonary hypertension in a newborn. I’m 100% sure my baby would have died if I didn’t push for that nagging feeling. She had a helicopter ride and a NICU stay, and has a lot of disabilities. But, she is the sweetest little pocket full of sunshine you could ever ask for.
