I dont think y'all understand what foreshadowing means. No this show wasn't planned all those years ago so the writers were like ooh lets drops some hints so ppl can look back on a few years and call it genuis foreshadowing. You do realise legacies comes after all tvd and to episodes have aired. The writers have an entire vault of episodes to pick from and bring up stuff again that has already been mentioned in the tvdu. Those things didnt mean much when we first heard them. The writers made the decision to expand on what had already been said across these shows and tbh they should've stuck with that and explore what was already known in the supernatural world and the origin of the witches or the mikaelson legacy instead of introducing something no one had heard of aka malivore.
