What is the worst delay you ever experienced at the airport?

My time to shine:

I wanted to visit my girlfriend in Warwick, Great Britain. I had a ticket from Nuremberg, Germany to Frankfurt and then from Frankfurt to London. From there I wanted to take the train to Birmingham and the Bus to Warwick.

The flight from Nuremberg should depart around 10 am. I arrived at the airport at 8 something o'clock. I looked at the board and the flight was cancelled. Great start. I don't know why it was cancelled but I went to the counter and asked what to do. They said there is another flight to Frankfurt 2 or 3 hours later. Great, Ill take that. After 1 hour I looked at the board and there is a delay for that flight. Well, Ill have to wait eventually I got on the airplane and flew to Frankfurt. Of course I couldn't get the airplane to London from there because it was way to late. For whatever reason that next flight to London was cancelled or delayed to. (I don't remember exactly and I don't want to lie). So they offered me a hotel room for the night for free. OR you can take the last flight available for the day (either the new one or the delayed one (still not sure anymore)). I chose the flight because I still would be able to get a train in London. I called my girlfriend and she checked that I would have 1 hour to get the train in London. So I took the flight. Everything went well I arrived at Heathrow airport and ....there was a freaking bomb warning. Someone left his luggage somewhere. We were not allowed to get our luggage. I started to sweat, because it was late and I knew that the subway will be closing soon. We had to wait and when I finally got my suitcase the subway was closed and I wasn't able to get the train to Birmingham. So what to do now? The Heathrow airport was scarily empty at that time. Almost noone there. It was late, I was tired so i lay on a metallic bench with my backpack as a pillow and my arm through the handle of my suitcase. I didn't sleep very well, I got up at 5 am or something like that and took the first train to Birmingham and finally arrived in Warwick. Worst flight of my life

TL;DR: Flight was canceled next was delayed, missed connection flight, didn't take the hotel room, bomb alert in Heathrow, no trains to Birmingham, had to sleep in the fucking huge empty hall in Heathrow on a bench
