I (30/F) was hit by a car six years ago while riding my bike, leaving me with serious pelvic damage from blunt force trauma. While I am able to walk and have normal GI and urinary tract function (finally- at one point I urinated like a sprinkler), sex is so painful to the point I need to use lidocaine before, and tylenol after sex (my liver hates me). If the pain lingers for longer than a week I take my mother's prescription dialudid without her knowing. I've given up on serious relationships because of this and I am only 30. Perhaps I wouldn't mind this much if I were a senior, but I've developed terrible depression and no longer ride a bicycle either due to PTSD.
