We went out on a couple dates before, I was developing strong feelings for her. Then we went to a pub. She asked to drink off my tab. She got real drunk and called another guy to pick her up. When I asked what that was about she said a guy she had a crush on for a long time liked her back. He was coming to pick her up, and we had to end what we had going.

In the week prior to this, she asked me for a number of favors. She asked me to buy some things, help her with her car, drive her a few places, asked me to climb in through her balcony after she locked herself out of her house, and this night she was of course drunk off my tab. So I got upset and asked if she intentionally waited until after I did those things until she was going to tell me this.

"You did those because you're desperate for any attention from a girl."

It really hurt my self esteem for a long time. It helped a bit when I realized the ridiculousness of it. Oh yeah, fuck me for doing those things you asked me to do. What an asshole I am.
