What would happen if we no longer segregated our public bathrooms by gender?

OK so she's an idiot for using the bathroom. Did you read the story? They had unisex bathrooms. They all had fratbros.

Right. Which means in addition, the club owners and managers were idiots, too.

She's committing the crime of existing and you're trying to push some blame on her. How?

If you think I'm blaming her for the incident, think again. No one should be manhandled for any reason... but then again, if you go to a concert with a mosh pit, stand by the pit, and expect not to get hit, then you've got issues with risk assessment. Put another way: I asked my wife if she'd use a unisex bathroom in a club with drunk idiots and she looked at me like I'd grown a third head.

You're defending all these assholes in their behavior.

No, I'm not. I'm just suggesting that everyone's a moron in this case. The club, for their negligence. The fratbros for thinking they have any right to touch anyone but themselves. The lady in question for poor risk assessment.

Put another way: We have freedom of speech in this country, but if you go to a ghetto and start yelling racial epithets at the top of your lungs, then you shouldn't be surprised if someone reacts negatively even though they have no right to do anything but yell back.

How do you watch someone grab a clearly non-consenting person, drunk or not, try to force them to their car, and just remain a bystander saying to yourself "she's stupid for being in line at the bathroom, it's her own fault I'll just let her get possibly raped it's none of my business."

Which part of 'I do not condone this behavior, but I'm not surprised by it' are you having problems with?!? I'm 6' tall. I'm 130 pounds. I'm at one hell of disadvantage when I have to involve myself, because damn near everyone outweighs me. I'll still do it, but I'll be smart about it. Stupid behavior is not a reason to sympathize with someone.
