I can’t allow that because I have to dehumanize you so that it’s easier for me to consider you a true enemy and unworthy of life so that when violence is committed against anything remotely associated with what I hate, I can feel good about it instead of like the completely broken human I really am.” So please tell me how this ideology/closed off mentality, makes you ANY different from what you’re against? It’s easy to just jump to these conclusions. In many cases it IS real racism. You’re right about that. But to MANY it has zero to do with the civil war, secession or slavery at all. It has a meaning to them you have yet to even comprehend because you lack the perspective... and are ignorant in your own way because you refuse to even consider that perspective. Which unfortunately so many are just like you. Totally convinced you’re completely righteous and side with the moral high ground, all while marginalizing, dehumanizing and berating other Americans for something they aren’t. So until that can be equalized and people can figure out a middle ground and stop yelling and hating each other... enjoy your 2nd civil war.
