i am not chinese but I used a chinese-centric dating app for a bit and matched with a woman from a different city. we chatted - nothing significant - and then she told me she was coming to NYC - my city - for an event and wanted to meet afterward.

i left one date to head up town to meet her. when we met it became apparent she spoke hardly any english and I speak no chinese.

she guided me to the garage where she had parked her expensive, luxury SUV. she handed me the keys and used google translate to ask me to drive to my house. all through the drive (about 20 minutes) we used google translate to communicate.

we got pizza and wine, listened to music, made out like teenagers and went to bed. i still was not sure where the night was going, but upon getting in bed and discovering her in lingerie it became clear. we fucked a few times and fell asleep.

the next morning I walked her to her car and said goodbye. apparently she was pissed off that i did not watch her drive away, or turnaround to look as i started walking back to my apartment. turns out she thought i was the love of her life and was crushed because i seemed so callous when she left.
