What was your worst job interview experience ever?

I was being interviewed by a panel of people from the organisation. One of the interviewers clearly wanted the job himself. He was basically arguing with me that everything that I'd ever done (had a lot of experience in the field) was wrong, wouldn't work in their organisation, that my ideas were wrong and would never work. All I could think was, if you want this job so badly, why are you interviewing me, why aren't you being interviewed?

I didn't get the job, and left thinking the culture must be so toxic. Two months later I got a call asking to interview again as the successful candidate had felt the position wasn't right for them.

Same guying still absolutely grilling me who was clearly after the job himself. I ended up being offered the job and turned them down, it just seemed way too toxic.

Another three months down the line I got another call asking to reinterview as they'd lost the person who had accepted the job instead of me. Said flat out no and to never contact me again.
