What's the dumbest myth people today believe?

I wrote it because every addict deserves help and for them to help themselves, sometimes you have to plant the seed.

I could care less how you take it, but you read it all and that's all I care about.

I understand that our society doesn't make it easy; but millions of people have overcome their addictions. Temptation may be everywhere and in everything, but it doesn't mean you're helpless. You are not a special little snowflake, you're a normal ass person with addictive tendencies. Excuses mean nothing. Excuses are just your ego protecting itself from your mistakes. You're not more of a "victim" or "radically different" than other addicts--millions of whom struggle with and overcome the same addiction every day. Yes it takes work. Nothing good is for free. But eventually it gets easier, and one day, it feels like a distant memory.
