When I was a junior in a high school, one of the seniors with a full ride for college and all that jazz lost it all over a senior prank that was in very bad taste

I believe this happened a few months after the virginia tech shooting, so you had that atmosphere of tension at school. The kid called into the wal-mart down the street that there was a shooter in the wal-mart parking lot, and brought our school into lockdown for a few hours.

We had cops outside of each building with shotguns/rifles and almost full body armor. It was pretty no nonsense but mr. full ride university went ahead with his prank anyways

Around lunchtime, the lock down was lifted and everyone went to lunch. The cafeteria was under construction, so we had to eat outside most of that year. Mr. full ride decided to hi-jack one of the security guard's golf carts, and ride it through the courtyard where everyone was having lunch while wearing a ski mask

He was having a grand ol' time driving through and waving at everyone. Most kids were laughing but some of them seemed legitimately afraid. I remember seeing a bunch of kids follow him around the corner of the main building, then suddenly come running back screaming because the cops were waiting for him with shotguns and rifles drawn on him lmao

After waiting for another 2 hour lockdown, we finally get to go home, and while I'm walking home I see his face planted against the hood of a cop car and a couple of cops writing down what I assume what his charges were. Rumor has it he went to jail for a few months and had none of the scholarship stuff waiting for him when he got out. I really wish I could've asked his motivation for all of that.
