15 year old me was at a friend's house late one night. Friend's sister also has a friend over, let's call her Jordyn. Jordyn, my friend and myself decide to watch a film before going to bed. Girl sits next to me on couch. After about 25 minutes my friend falls asleep so the two of us are the only ones left awake when she lays her head on my lap.

Now earlier in the evening she had mentioned that she had a boyfriend, so I was already aware of how bad it would be if he was here.

After a few minutes I'd kind of slouched on the couch and her head was resting on my chest area. Then, she rolled over to where her face was right in front of mine, with my hand around her waist she was so close.

Then I panicked. "Oh no you're gonna miss the best part". She shot back up and we silently finished the movie and went to bed.

I called her a week or so later and asked if she was making a move on me and she said yes, and confessed her love for me. (damn, girl I just met you) and said she would break up with the boyfriend if I'd say yes. I respectfully said no as I knew I'd feel terrible if I were her guy (she's still with him btw) I'd feel terrible.

in the end I felt I'd made the right, mature, choice.

My friends gave me shit about it for a couple years after.
