Whats something you know is bad/illegal but always wanted to try?

I've been in a car chase, but one that had more to do with evading by stealth than something out of the a Dukes of Hazzard and Smokey and the Bandit. My cousin in Florida bought a brand new red Mustang convertible a while ago and since I was down there for my birthday, he was letting me drive it. It was a stick shift. Everyone in my family are either mechanics, highway patrolmen, or street racers, some of them all three. I had just turned 17, but I've been driving since I was roughly 12 and working on cars since I could walk. We were down by the beach on a main road in a decently large city, and I was going 50 in a 45. Then that 45 transitioned into a 25 all of a sudden and there was a cop on the other side of throat facing the way we were coming from. Naturally, bright red mustang convertible attracts a lot of cop attention. My cousin said, "Gun it." I didn't know why at the time. The cop had it's lights on but was having trouble turning around without getting crashed into. My cousin saw a side street and had me drift into it while the Cop couldn't see us, and driving sown the road, there was the fucking sheriff right there. He didn't know anything was up so he paid no mind. Drove past him, and there was at least 30 cop cars parked in the parking lot. We had pulled into a government building's lot. They didnt know anything was wrong so we snuck past them with relative ease. We pulled out of the lot's exit onto a side street barren of any traffic, and my cousin told me to get out of the car, take off my sweatshirt, and walk back to the place we were staying. I obliged, and since it was only like a 20 minute walk, it wasn't that bad. But I was still wondering why he had me evading cops. I got back to the place I was staying, and his car was parked on the side of the building. I went inside, and he was sitting there on the couch with an indescribable look on his face, like guilt combined with relief. I asked him what the fuck was going on, and it turns out that he has forgotten that he had a stolen computer in his trunk, as well as an unregistered gun. He is a fucking dumbass. He said that the laptop was bought from someone who stole it, but the gun he had stolen from a drug dealer who he had beaten the shit out of for harassing his sister. Combine that with the fact that I was 17 and didn't have my full license and would have had it revoked for going that fast in a 25 and possibly arrested for reckless driving, and he couldn't afford to get pulled over with that shit in the trunk. He was protecting me by telling me to do that shit. By me getting out of the car, I could stay uninvolved, and the fact that we look enough alike and were wearing similar clothes made it easier for him to pass himself off as the driver that was speeding through the zone had he been pulled over. What was his saving grace though was the fact that in Florida, everyone has a bright red mustang convertible. Plus the fact that there was only one guy in the car made it hard to prove that the speeding car was his. He made it back without trouble from the cops, and saw two other red convertible brand new mustangs pulled over on his way back, but he stayed and watched and they were both let go without a ticket. The drivers didn't match the description. I called him an idiot but thanked him for protecting my ass. I don't plan on getting into any more car chases. He told me he got rid of the gun and laptop. He didn't have any bullets, and the gun had never been fired, but still. He didn't need an unregistered weapon to be found in his car. Never again shall I be in a car chase for the foreseeable future.
