What's something you didn't realize how bad it was until it finally happened to you?

Magnesium is also a godsend if you get muscle cramps. i'm particularly sensitive to them - the best anxiety/stress relief for me is heavy exertion - full blast kickboxing workouts, deadlifts, sprints, etc... stuff that's so intense you can't think about anything else while doing it. I'm also a heavy sweater, so i lose lots of electrolytes and minerals regularly. That combo is a recipe for cramp city. it got really bad a few years back when i would wake up, adjust my position/stretch, and get horrible cramps in my calves, or upper back. started researching the possible cause and tried a few different methods - it was magnesium. started taking a magnesium complex and haven't had another cramp since, and it's been over 5 years.

Not sure if it could be related but Zinc is another common deficiency. i take both zinc and magnesium every night before bed. Hopefully someone with migraines could avoid them by taking care of the most common mineral deficiencies. potassium is another common one but i'm getting plenty of that eating 3-4 bags of spinach a week.
