I got accused of making a bomb threat. Two guys in one of my classes made identical statements, claiming that I had told them Friday was going to be a half day and that I was going to shoot up/blow up the school. That got me expelled for the remainder of the year and when I came back the next year one of the guys had moved back across the states and the other just avoided me like the plague. I was messed up, severely depressed even, but I wasn't that kind of messed up.

I almost got kicked out of a digital media class because someone had mounted a network location on a few of the workstations, including mine. The media instructor wasn't very technical and thought that I had gone out of my way to install a secondary HDD in multiple workstations for no apparent reason.

When I started a job as a CNC operator, I was tasked one day with deep cleaning the machine. This machine had never been taken care of properly. The table was actual particle board, rather than the perforated board that it was supposed to have, but that's another story (of flying aluminum). Deep cleaning involved numbering and removing the bits. My supervisor pulled one bit off the spool and was talking with his hands before putting it back. After he was done explaining, I grabbed a sharpie and numbered each bit according to where it was on the spool before removing them.

Turns out he had put the bit in a different slot and almost caused a few grand in damages to the machine the next time he ran it. (different rpm and torque settings for different bits) Of course I got blamed for that, as well as for stealing software, materials, and quite a few other damages that I had not eve been made aware of in my whole week of being there.
