What's your 'fuck this, I quit!' story?

Worked as the manager of my school's recording studio. The first semester I was manager was great. The second semester a new guy who worked above me came in and things immediately went down hill. We went two entire semesters without being paid. I called the department of labor, would constantly harrass faculty and nothing worked. I eventually had the threaten a lawsuit for people to get paid. At this point a lot of people had quit (resonably). We did eventually get paid for all of our hours. I did have to threaten a lawsuit again the next semester after we had been paid, to be put onto payroll for the coming semester because my boss would not reply to any of my emails and avoided contact with me. This semester he tells me we have worked over twice the amount of hours that I had recorded and our budget is half of what it should be. He again would not reply to anything I tried to say to help resolve the issue. I recently sent out a long email to many people in the department stating what was wrong and why im quitting. Its sad because at the core I love the job. It's just that any issue that needed to be resolved would not get resolved due to the fact that I cant do it myself being an undergrad student and the faculty who I needed to help me refused to.
