Senior year i took an "academy class" that would take place at another school, transportation provided. It took up 3 class times and you always got back for lunch, then final period and call it a day. Very chill. The cool kids had cars by this time and would go to class, skip lunch which you could technically do and go back to their final class. One day a classmate asks if i want a ride. I say sure beats the bus ride. It was 4 other people and me. We went to class then afterwards they decided to smoke (weed). I politely declined since i didn't smoke back then. We get back to school and as we are leaving the car to walk to school i remember i left my phone in the cup holder of the car. I asked for the keys and tell them id meat them up. As im walking back i see that they had gotten stopped by the school security officer. He was a cool guy, usually stops to ask how we are and stuff so i didn't think anything of it. Im about 100 yards away at this point and suddenly i see him radio someone. My classmates are stopped and i know something is up. At about 50 yards away i see a police officer pull up. Now im thinking wtf do i do?! I decide to keep walking as if nothing happened , contemplating what to say. Im close now, i can see the whites in their eyes, only they were blood shot red LOL. The officer is talking to the group and the security guard asks me where im coming from. I say academy and since i had the keys and my eyes weren't bloodshot, he must have assumed i was not with the group so i walked right past them. We all gave each other this look like dayyum . For a brief moment i felt like that scene when Jason Bourne walks away from an accident uninjured.
