When were YOU the asshole?

In elementary school, I was a smart kid that didn't get in trouble often. I was also a real grade A asshole.

So during recess one day, another kid had been bugging me. He wasn't a bad kid, but had ADHD and tended to get labeled a troublemaker by teachers. Somehow he got on my nerves, so I waited until no one was looking and whipped a dodgeball at his head. Solid connection.

He, quite rightly, gets upset and goes for a teacher. When they approach me and ask what happened, I put on my best shocked face and say I have no idea. I'll never forget watching the other kid's face twist with rage as he watched me lie through my teeth and get away with it. He even had to apologize for accusing me of something I didn't do.

Still feel bad about it, pretty sure I helped destroy that kid's faith in authority figures at a young age.
