Whenever I have a bad day at work, I just remember that people work in the Times Square Guitar Center everyday.

I know this feeling, I don't want to buy things from the Apple Store anymore because it's clearly changed over the years. I need to get a new computer soon so was asking about one of the MacBooks + displays, and it just felt like they were trying their best to slowly get away and stop talking to me. This happened at least twice at two different stores.

And then I wanted to get some earphones, asked if I could try them and they said "we don't have any on display to try" so I asked if they had any anywhere else "...oh, well, I can get out the box of demo units" followed by unenthusiastically getting the box out and handing me a pair.

Apple Stores always seem relatively busy, but I have no idea why anyone would want to spend any time there. Doesn't make me want to buy their computer with their attitude, I can only assume their logic is if you have a question then you can't afford it anyway...
