Honestly, I didn't think TFA was that bad. It certainly had flaws don't get me wrong, But the potential was definitely laid for a good trilogy.

TLJ just.. Ugh. If you take out the Nostalgia moments its just such a garbage film with a garbage plot. Luke Drinking Walrus milk felt like Rian was intentionally trying to humiliate a childhood hero for no reason other than just because.

And ROS just.. The single biggest - dumbest retcon in story telling history. Completely invalidates Anakin/Vader's entire arc as the the supposed Chosen one. Just awful.

Those last two films have made such a massively negative impact on SW canon i despise their existence.
