Who are the most annoying people on reddit?

As I said before, I stopped correcting people.

Sure, you don't force them on anyone anymore, bit it's clear you still harbor the same sentiment.

When you want someone's opinion, it's self-contradictory to respond by saying "get over yourself." These are just my thoughts, and I don't force them onto anyone.

Did I actually indicate that I wanted your opinion? Sorry if I gave off that impression. I was just responding to your replies.

The entire problem that I have with poor grammar is that I can't understand people fully if their English is not proper. "Let's eat Grandpa" could be a cannibal or someone who's inviting their grandfather to dinner. Even in such a fundamental example, you can see that proper English is extremely influential on communicative ability.

From the very beginning, I have made it clear that I'm talking about cases where the meaning is still clear from context (e.g. things like your/you're and there/their/they're). These have little effect on creating ambiguity and are still understood by the reader. Your example is a bit contrived. Those two statements would probably be very distinguishable based on context.

(Although I'm sure you'll try to conjure up a scenario where the context doesn't distinguish them, but guess what - even without grammatical mistakes, there are still ambiguities in the English language. These are usually remedied by a follow-up question. The same would apply for whatever contrived scenario you can come up with as well.)

I did not correct people because it gave me some sense of superiority, that's stupid and only shitty people decide to bicker and insult people over English (like you're doing). If a Japanese man creates an AI that passes the Turing test, but can't speak proper English, I will still correct him. It doesn't mean I'm intellectually superior, it just means I know better English and personally think he is better off if he does too.

Yeah, I bet. So magnanimous of you.

There's no reason to attempt to reason someone out of a position they evidently didn't reason their way into.

Ugh. I'm sure you saw this somewhere on reddit, and it sounded like a good comeback whenever someone else said it, but it doesn't really apply here. What haven't I 'reasoned' my way into? I've explained all my positions I've mentioned so far.

I earnestly wish I knew what kind of a person you were before I responded.

The same person I am now. Just now I'm dealing with your shitty rhetoric and lack the patience to remain cordial.
