Who is "that guy/girl" you work with?

We work together in a school/job training sort of way, we all work on our own things in the same space, like coworkers. This guy is a huge know it all who has to insert himself into everything, or 'subtly' brag about things.

He got an internship at a huge company, but we all know his mom works there. He loves to talk about who he "knows" and is very annoying about it. We had a well-established in his field (director/vfx artist) guest speaker come who did projects with that company, and the guy asks "oh really company X huh? Who hired you? I work there" or whenever he can he has to say "well my internship at company X..."/"one day when I got to my internship at company X"/"company X has so much going on im so busy at my internship". We get it.

He doesn't have the skill to land him a job like this. He tries to convince people below him to do his work for him, while the rest of us do our own work ourselves and really bust our asses doing it.

Always has criticism during any critique or discussion. "Well, you know what I think..." Spit it out! Or takes long pauses after "well......." Wasting what short time we have.

Someone will explain their project really thoroughly and he says "you see, here's my question..." And asks a really stupid question that was clearly explained in the project pitch. Like you'd have to be TRYING to not pay attention to miss it.

He also challenges people on personal things, like person A was giving advice on a medical project of person B's (because person A has the condition) and the guy says "I don't want to say you're wrong, person A, but I know people who don't have to do x with your condition, I know a thing or two about it"

He invited myself, friends and a few other people I didn't know to a party. He left in the middle of it. Ugh.
