Who was the meanest person you ever met, and how did you dealt with him/her ?

Probably not the "meanest" but definetly the most manipulative by FAR was a guy i worked with a few years ago. This guy was great at the long-con. Id say hes probably a sociopath but im not a Dr so i couldnt say for sure. He would go out of his way to try and get other guys at work to hate each other. Literally make up stories and tell you "X said this about you to the big boss" and things like that. I remember one time he came to me trying to tell me about someone throwing me under the bus in a meeting. What he didnt count on was that me and the person he was referring to were pretty good friends and respected each other at work. As he was telling me his tale, i called the guy over he was talking about and told him to repeat what he just told me. Even as a brown skinned latin guy his face went red. I dont.remember specifically how he handled that but i know he never tried that with me again. He did manage to get me fired by lying and telling one of the owners of the.company that i was stealing. I obviously wasnt, but me and that owner were already not on the greatest terms because he was a pretty rude and egotistical guy. Im not perfect by any means but im always polite until someone else isnt. And then ill be 10x more rude than the person. Anyways... i had embarassed the boss one time in front of a few other employees and he jumped at the chance to get me out of the shop...after i was gone, i kept in touch with most of my old coworkers so i still got to hear everything this guy did. He managed to get literally every single person in his department fired and eventually became manager of a very specific trade in which he had ZERO experience other than some office work. I got a text last week of a screen shot from one of my buddies that he had been fired and was not allowed back on the property. Come to find out he had been harrassing a woman working under him for about a year. She had saved every single text and voicemail he'd left her over that time frame and took it to one of the owners. The company was not perfect but the one thing they did get right was making sure it was a friendly working environment the best they could. These days ive grown a pretty good reputation in my field of work and know just about everyone who makes hiring decisions in different companies in my area. Ive emailed every single one of them warning them about this guy and how he is a literal cancer to any work environment he is involved with. Every single one of them has emailed.me back and thanked me for the warning. And just in case the guy im talking about reads this and figures out its about him...i know your wife doesnt know why you got fired. I would love to tell her.
