Where did I ever argue that the death rate or age distribution was incorrect? You initially replied to me arguing that the experts would have spotted my observations, if they were true. My observations were about safety precautions being laughable in Beijing and the numbers to not be particularly trustworthy, not about the specifics of the disease.

China covered up the outbreak since it started and tried to lock up people who were speaking up about it. They changed the way they count the infected 4 times. The numbers dropped by 90% the day following a political speech asking the provinces to get their shit together. I see not reason of taking their numbers for granted. The 400 cases in Beijing and Shanghai are particularly ridiculous, millions of people traveled in and out of those cities over the weeks preceding the lockdown (which is when the virus spread), still somehow South Korea and Italy managed to get much higher numbers in spite of there being infinitely fewer people infected at t-zero. So yeah, major grain on salt on the official numbers there.

Nice strawman about the migration being irrelevant to virus propagation. What you said was that the virus is absent in Beijing because everybody left the city. That was incorrect because (1) people were still there during the peak of the transmission of the virus, (2) even then, millions of people have remained in Beijing and been in contact with people traveling in and out (3) Beijing is a major hub, hence quite likely to put infected people in direct contact with others. You were the one arguing that migration started months ago (incorrect) and was only from Beijing to elsewhere (incorrect) and that somehow that explained why the numbers are so low (illogical).

My argument has not changed, yours keeps changing at every comment. So I am guessing you are able to also see how illogical and disingenuous your comebacks are. If the only perspective you can have is that China is perfect and never lies, then you need to wake up.
