Who is the worst band you've ever seen live and why?

And people exercise because they are interested in staying healthy and I really hope everyone is like that.

I learned how to really play the guitar because it was a method of expressing myself that was more complete than any other medium I've tried. But I'd be lying if I didn't say the first song I learned wasn't to try and get women.

Learning an instrument and learning an instrument to play in front of other people are two different things. One is for the individual, for the soul, for whatever kind of enjoyment you personally get out of it. But when you finally decide to play in front of other people, there's always another reason. Maybe it's stardom. Maybe it's you just have something to say about the world. Or maybe you're just trying to get a girl to show you her boobs. No one reason is any better than the other; they're just different.

Likewise there are two types of "guitar guy at the party." There's the one who brings his guitar. He's an ass. He's doing the same thing you do when hitting on women, he's just using props. He's the Carrot Top of the dating game. The other guy is the guy who plays guitar, who plays the game by the rules and only starts playing a song when he's asked to, and he doesn't bring the guitar to the party. There's just a guitar in the house. And he's not the guy to break it out in the middle of everything and be the entertainment. He's the guy who takes the girl (or hopefully girls) who want to hear him out to a quieter part of the house (the stairway in Animal House, corner of the room, etc.) and plays because that's what they wanted to hear. He's not like Carrot Top guitar guy. He's just playing to his strengths when it's the right time to use them, and it's hard for me to get mad at that guy.

The same is true with the guys who use their abs. The one lifting his shirt is using his body as a prop, that's Carrot Top. The other guy who exercises and it only becomes part of the conversation when she touches his arm and comments on it. That's the other guy. I can't get mad at that guy.
