A child isn’t something you flip the switch to being accessible to the father for you convenience.

You can’t expect your husband to act like he wasn’t barred off from seeing the delivery and then gladly care for it. High chance is, he probably won’t come back.

You don’t flip flop from not being able to witness birth to, all of the sudden going: here can you change their diaper :) ?

Go ask any of your male relatives, husband/bf, or male friends:

“How would you feel if your wife got pregnant, you took care of her throughout the whole pregnancy, then she says you can’t be present during birth?”

If I could I’d bet my life on it that 95% would not be fond of the idea.
