Winnie the Pooh makes sure this little boy with cerebral palsy gets a magical experience when he visits Disney World

People are desperate to be costumed cast members. Seriously, there’s not a single cranky person in those costumes, they love making children (and adults) happy.

And sure, Disney is crowded and overpriced but there is not another comparable experience running that hits the same notes Disney manages to. I would love to see more immersive fantasy like this, that’s for all ages - it would be good for the human spirit all around. But at the moment, Disney is the only player in the game (maybe Universal a bit, but still their parks are far more ride focused.)

I’m a pretty cynical person, but I can’t find Disney cheesy. You can feel the genuine joy in the cast members, and through the work imagineers have put in to the parks, none of that is because of corporate, infact it’s normally inspite of it.
