what does this shit even mean? like do people doing housework want others to walk past and acknowledge them like "hello, i see you and i see that you are doing housework, great work you're doing!" ??? i'm a male and i'm invisible when i'm doing housework.... i'm invisible when i go to the shops, i'm invisible when i do most tasks in the day to day and it has nothing to do with gender... and i wouldn't want it any other way... there are perks to being invisible - you get to do whatever task is at hand without interruption, or is there some deeper need for validation/gratification? i don't get it, and i'm kind of glad i don't.. people are too in their heads.
