I’m a reasonable woman and I would be thrilled to know that a church is taking the Bible seriously by not allowing the women to vote. I have attended a women’s Bible study or two and saying that the women get “off topic” would be an understatement. I gave up on those years ago and I enjoy much peace. I think the men allow the women their Women’s Ministry to keep them from being busybodies. Men can be busybodies too, but the women are who are called out on it in the Bible, the young widows with nothing to do. And the Bible also puts suffering as a busybody in the same boat as suffering as a murderer, thief and an evildoer. I am a recovering recovered busy body and it a sin I still have to battle today.
