Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins hits back at James Cameron criticism

There's so much to be appreciated in the way Cameron shoots action, it's just a little bit above anyone else. He's known to be a very hardworking / demanding director (obsessive some would say) and it shows on the screen. But a lot of people can't appreciate what he does exceptionally well and don't look beyond things like this: "oh silly blue aliens", "oh cliched love story on a boat".

Take T2 for example, not only does it still holds up, it blows out of the water most of what's being done in terms of action movies these days. Take the mall scene for instance. The way the tension builds up is just so good, and that nice touch with the flowers. There isn't anything this good in a movie, like say, Wonder Wonder (I thought it was alright).

It's so sad to see reddit gang up on him like he's just some irrelevant sexist asshole (even thought he made two of the most iconic strong female portrayals in the history of filmmaking). I'm not saying he's perfect, he does have his ego, but he deserves better than this.
