Wonder Woman Is A Worldwide Hit With Over $200 Million Opening

Dude, shit the fuck up. Seriously, you're obnoxious.

This isn't some diversity quota. Have you ever read a comic book? I only just got into them a couple years ago. Full disclosure, I picked up a Wonder woman comic book and felt a little weird reading it. Like I wasnt supposed to read it because it was starring a woman. But then I fucking enjoyed it. The fact that Wonder woman hasn't had a real movie up until this point is ridiculous given their desire to milk Batman and superman.

Then you dig a little deeper and find other amazing heroes that aren't getting movies, men and women included. But they have to make the 200th Batman movie showing his origin story. And I'm saying this as a massive Batman fan. In the DC Universe, Wonder Woman is right up there with Batman and Superman in terms of importance to the Justice League and popularity by readers of DC. Yet this is her first movie. If you read comics you'll understand that many female super heroes are sorely lacking their own movies and most of these heroes would make excellent movies. Wonder woman just fucking proved that.

I have like 6 nieces that were very excited for Wonder Woman. It kind of confused me given that they're only luq warm to other comic book movies. I realized it's because Wonder woman is absolutely badass and there's very few badass women super heroes with their own movie.
