The World is Not Going To Reduce Carbon Dioxide Emissions by 50% By 2030, Now What?

This is why I'm betting on Toronto. It's a bit far North and has trouble with arctic winds, but it has the great lakes for both fresh water supply and temperature stability, and is far from the coasts. There are flooding concerns but I believe they are highly manageable in future due to the level of control possible with the great lakes. Vancouver also looks very promising on most climate models I've studied, but I worry about being on the coast and also Vancouver's industry is quite lacking.

I would have moved there already if it weren't for the incredible property bubble taking place right now.
