I don’t think there’s a big problem with Susie, her boyfriend was the one who tested positive and Skylar (at first) more so tried to say that Susie had herpes when she didn’t and then when Susie told her side, Skylar backtracked and said it’s because she didn’t disclose. Morally not disclosing is bad but like hsv-1 (the herpes that causes cold sores) infects almost the whole population and can be transmitted genitally which no one talks about or discloses. Unfortunately, several people in sex work have this strain and do not disclose. When I work with people I make sure they understand there’s more then one strain and more then one way to transmit strains. I feel like this new wave of sex workers don’t want to educate themselves.
