I am new to this platform and I don't know if this is really what's going on with the somalis these days, last time one guy waa talking about how he hated his Muslim name which was abdurahman and changed in to somali one, I have no problem with wanting somali name but it was as if being a Muslim imposed on us like the Europeans imposed Christianity on people they colonized, its not the same people always mistake Islam with Christianity , anything that ia related to Christianity is accused of us now a days but it's not the same,people do not know Arabs left their culture when they converted to Islam? They left marrying hundreds of wives or inheriting their step moms, alcohol, I name it they left it for Islam, of course we are not Arabs we are africans who have very rich history, when the arabs were very proud of their tribalism we had kingdoms and civilization they never dreamed of,the only thing we need to do right now is leave tribalism as the arabs left after Allah bestowed upon them al Islam . so now everyone is saying they should decide the responsibility when it's the responsibility of the man to take care of his family.
