Would it be illegal to purposefully muck-up websites tracking?

IMNAL but there are zillion of tools that do that. They are available to general public through official application stores - itunes, microsoft store, google play. There are hardware solutions marketed to do exactly that. I am talking bluechip brands and respected developer companies, not darknet solutions.

All these apps use same methods - they block requests, send fake responses, modify the page code/content. There are ..llions users of these apps in the world, I assume few millions in Australia.

Even if there was a law that can be used against it, if it is used to create a court of law case - it certainly gonna get destroyed later in appeals.
