Exciton Knight was primarily used to clear a board on the turn it was summoned. Using it during your opponent's BP rarely happened. PePe would make Exciton, clear the board, and then proceed to go off. Go back and read my comment since you ignored what I had to say before. Don't worry, I totally believe that you know how to properly use Exciton Knight.

Actually they were. We're talking about right before they were banned. As in late 2014 and early 2015. The only relevant decks that used Dragon Rulers at this time were mono attribute. I wasn't aware that Mythic Rulers were a thing "right before they were banned". That deck was dead once DUEA arrived.
