wow!!

I live two blocks from Universal. Trust me, they are shitty. The most recent example - there are only two lines of entrance. One has five people. The other has one person. I go in the line with one person. That person is trying to get in with a fake ticket. instead of sending them away, the woman at the booth is smugly telling them she'll have to call someone to inspect the ticket, she is suspicious of the ticket. This goes on for two minutes. Three minutes. Four minutes. Now everyone that was waiting behind me goes to the other line. That line now has 20 people. I'm the only one in the line with one person but the lady still makes no effort to tell the woman with the fake ticket to move along. My friends are on the other side of the gate waiting for me. I wait two minutes. I have no choice but to wait it out because the other line is now backed up with people. Finally my friends just leave and I never go inside.

Or how about every single time I go to park, there are only two cars in front of me. Hooray. Then the person in the booth spends LITERALLY four minutes talking to someone in one car. They finally make a U-Turn and exit. This happens every single time I go to park there.

But take the tram. Oh, good, you're crossing Lankershim and the tram is still there. The people that board the tram are looking at me, debating whether they should wait. The line turns green and you hurry across and then they send the tram away. Don't worry, another tram arrives... in 12 minutes. I walked up the hill because I'm trying to catch a movie and when I get to the top, the other tram hasn't even departed yet.

Maybe these things have changed now, after complaints, but this is standard for Universal. Shitty ass place. Disneyland is not.
