Hi. I don`t want to be rude, but i would be very interested to know proofs for the word "Sabniyyah".

Based on maybe the most respected and well-known dictionary of the Arabic language, Lisān al-ʿArab: "sabniyyah" is a kind of thick fabric made of flax. Or derivative of a place towards Marocco called sabanun. Some scholars of the arabic language believe, its not orginally an arabic word.

I myself dont know any dialect that uses sabniyyah as a deriative of 7. Seven in arabic is sabatun (sabah if you stop your sentence to it).

Eight pointed star (Octagram) in arabic is najmah thumaniyyah and Heptagram is najmah subaa`iyyah.

I would like to know from where your clanmate got his information.

Some scholars say its placed towards Armenia and Azerbaijan, others says its towards china. But based on my knowledge, there is no mentioning of its precise place in the Quran or in the prophet Mohammed`s (pbuh) teachings. I myself, have never heard of an opinion saying straight forwardly that the wall is in russia.

Sorry if i feel rude or aggressive, just wanted to share some light with what i know... and to learn something if there is something new that i can learn.
