Fun fact: Wes Nale is the only one time player to be voted out on Day 26. Given the possibility of 26 day seasons, this record could remain.

I have a theory about 26 days. My theory is Production is doing 26 days because of Covid. 41 and 42 were filmed with 13 day quarantine so that's why it was 26 days.

43-44 were 26 days because despite Fiji loosening Covid-19 restrictions on May 1st this year. Production wanted to play it safe and just film 26 days for both seasons. They could've done 39 days on 44 but since they film 2 seasons back to back it would be easier to keep it 26 says and have Jeff and Production prepare to film 39 days next year(Summer 2023) for 45-46.

Production doesn't want to outright say COVID is the reason because they think they'll lose more viewers by saying "Next 3-5 seasons will be affected because by Covid" which will turn off more viewers before the season aires. If fans know the seasons will be drastically different, they won't watch the show before the premiere.

This New Era will probably keep the advantages and twists. But I guarantee 45 or worst case scenario 50 will be the season 39 days comes back. Along with the Reunion Show, Ponderosa, and Loved Ones visit.

I could be totally wrong, but I have hope.
