The young see Brexit for what it really is, they will make Britain European again - Guy Verhofstadt

Says who? I've lived in several countries, live outside the UK now, and all have better healthcare systems.

How can so many countries spend less per GDP than the UK does but provide a better service?

I've been fortunate enough to live in Singapore and the health system there embarrasses the NHS.

The NHS has a ridiculous amount of people in management positions, jobs created out of thin air to manipulate unemployment statistics, and nowhere near enough being spent on front line staff, beds etc.

Missed appointments and fraud are costing the NHS billions per year, as are issues with obesity, abuse of A&E services.

Because people don't have to pay for this, or have an impact added to their health insurance premiums, they abuse it constantly. It's costing the NHS billions.

Telling yourself it's the best because it's British and regarded as a sacred institution doesn't make it so. Brits have an island mentality and suffer from pure delusion when it comes to this sort of thing whereby they think it must be the best in the world as it's British. Not the case anymore, the world has moved on.

The NHS also doesn't seem to grasp that presentation is much more cost effective than cure. The UK is one of the fattest nations in Europe.

Continue living a lie all you want. It doesn't bother me as I no longer live in the UK.
