Your favorite hero gets a new sidekick...

Due to a freak accident on their end with interdimensional travel technology, I am dropped into the OG timeline of SRW. And am promptly picked up by Gilliam Yaeger... Who takes me to Elzam von Branstein (and Sanger Zonvolt). All three of them are incredibly skilled robot pilots, due to being pretty much the first of the setting. Elzam would be the best suited, as he has piloted both Real-types and Super-types. This works out for me as he is my favourite character of them.

Now, the three of them may work in secret, but they have a contact who does not. They use said contact to get a Gespenst or something delivered. (NOT a TT since I would not be able to utilise the T-Link system) My main problem at this point is lack of skill. Let us assume the Gespenst's weaponry is a regular ramming attack (which was only ever useful in the first stage of Ryusei's route in OG, and that's a combination of Elzam piloting that particular Gespenst and it being the only weapon that one could even USE at the time!), a "Split Missile" (which is a pair of back-mounted pods which can be laucnhed and then release a bunch of missiles each), a Plasma Cutter (an energy-based bladed weapon), and, the Gespenst's signature weapon, the JET MAGNUM. Gespensts have three "Plasma Stakes" on their left arm, and THIS attack is what they are used for. The stakes are rammed into a target and the energy released. It is a surprisingly awesome attack for a mass-produced Real-type. However, evasion isn't my thing due to the lack of skill. Or accuracy. As such, it is reinforced with some additional armour, as well as targeting systems to help make up for the lack of skill. (Basically, making use of the Gespenst's part slots going by gameplay mechanics).

While I couldn't be on par with any non-support pilot due to the lack of skill, I would be more than capable of surpassing a generic, due to the unit's modifications. I would also try not to lock myself to a single specialisation, like a lot of pilots tend to do - instead, I would try to ensure some familiarity with all weapons that could be equipped to a Gespenst, and as such be able to fight at most ranges. And get weapons refitted to suit the situation.

Round 1: Support pilots due to their lack of combat oriented spirit commands.

Round 2: I could serve as a distraction while Elzam lays down the hurt with Aussenseiter. To add insult to injury it is feasible that the other two would have assisted in the mentoring, which means the ORIGINAL Gespenst is involved too... as well as Dygenguard. The mere fact of Dygenguard fighting alongside Aussenseiter means enemies are screwed, because they have a combination attack.

Round 3: There... aren't really any famous duos in the OG timeline... So, probably not any.

Round 4: I equip my Gespenst with the strongest equippable weapons - stuff like a Boost Hammer and Stealth Boomerang. The Boost Hammer and Stealth Boomerang cover close and long range attacks, while having a really high power AND great accuracy modifiers. I would also have my Gespenst fully upgraded. Elzam would also be in a Gespenst, but just the standard loadout. Even then, he might be skilled enough to overcome the advantages anyway. I... honestly doubt I could EVER defeat Elzam.

Round 5: I don't think I could take any of them.

Round 6: Same.
